Success comes in many different forms, but none better than making wishes come true!
We proudly hosted a record setting 96 teams at the 6th Annual QX 104 Slo-Pitch 4-A-Wish tournament on Saturday, September 21, 2024 and together raised over $104,000 for @makeawish_canada! That’s the equivalent of over 10 wishes granted! Bravo! Thank you to all 96 teams that stepped to the plate and once again, delivered.
Despite a rainy Saturday which didn’t allow for any Slo-Pitch besides the Celebrity Game, we were given a fantastic evening of music by @petricmusic , @catiestgermain , @jadeeaglesonmusic , and @jamesbarkerband ! Fortunately, with the help of SPN Manitoba , the tournament was able to resume on Sunday with a great showcase of teams returning for a day of Slo-Pitch in the sun.
Thank you to @brodyjacksonqx104 and the QX104 team for the countless hours of planning and preparation all year round, the artists for believing in the event and performing both on and off the diamond, all the event sponsors, and this year’s MVP, Pacey for being the inspiration he is and sharing his story with us.
