Little Mountain Sportsplex
Multi-Sport Facility
As many of you may have noticed earlier in the week, Little Mountain Sportsplex has committed to the cost-sharing effort with the Rural Municipality of Rosser to provide dust control on Farmer Road. Dust control has been applied from our North Exit, travelling East to the Klimpke Road intersection. The dust was affecting our games, our players, and the Little Mountain Sportsplex experience as a whole. We have taken responsibility to help resolve what was a previously ongoing issue and are hopeful that all teams will appreciate the recent improvements moving forth.
In addition, we'd like to share:
"Currently, traffic exiting the site after 8:00 p.m. through the North Exit Gate is suggested to proceed east straight down Farmer Road to Route 90. Please do not use Klimpke Rd.
In the near future, a no right turn sign will be installed by the Municipality at the intersection of Farmer Road & Klimpke, and once installed it will be an offense to turn right onto Klimpke after 8pm. Education will start first and then a move to enforcement if violations are detected.
Once Wheatfield construction is completed in the summer, then those wishing to head to Centerport Way can use Farmer Road east and then turn south onto Wheatfield to get to CentrePort Way.
Please also note that the intersection at Farmer Rd and Klimpke has now been made a four-way stop. We would also ask everyone to respect the speed limit of 50 kms when exiting the site onto Farmer Rd.
We ask for cooperation from all using Little Mountain Sportsplex."
